Video Browser for Sony Smart TV App Reviews

Looking for something that aids in you tv viewing this aint it.....it is worth less than the toy in a cereal box......

I like this app it connects to my tv and I like watching longer shows and sometimes movies but if u miss something during a video u cant rewind it without making the the video stop and having to start over the whole thing completely. Sometimes the app just closes while Im watching a show and when I open it again it starts the video over. The app is a great idea but there are a lot of things u could work on to make it greater

Since the update from V.1.6.1 to V.1.70 on March 31, 2014, APP I can no longer open some videos in the browser. Maybe it will be fixed in the next update?

This app is very usefull. Unfortunately they are too much advertises.

Paid version is good as this one because I hate count down when I play on my tv?

The app detected our TV automatically, but each time I tried to play a video, the message to confirm it playing on the TV would come up after I started playing it on my phone. By the time it showed up on the TV, we would miss the first 5 seconds. Then after using it a few times, the app started making us wait around 10 seconds to play the video. It said that if I shared the video that we could skip the wait (which in no doubt gives a shoutout to the app its shared from). That didnt seem a big deal, but appearently the video plays in the background during the countdown, so now we would miss the first 15 seconds of the videos. Plus it wouldnt let us rewind to the first beginning of the video, only AFTER the first 15 seconds. If you want to get this app, be prepared to buy countdown unlock, because you wont tolerate it for long. But you still have to deal with the phone connecting to the TV after you start playing the video.

Like Safari, this browser does not display flash.

I have a Sony Bravia Smart TV with "Screen Mirroring ". Just found out that feature doesnt work with an iPad or iPhone. This app allows me to view web videos from my iPad or iPhone to my TV.

Works good but fast forward control is buggy, locks up the video and sometimes locks up the tv requiring it to be unplugged. Would be a 5 star app if those bugs were fixed.

Its not working on this time please fix.

Hope this is just the beginning and that later updates will improve upon what has been accomplished so far. Requests for later updates: 1) be compatible with more live video streams. (Sports!) 2) have desktop mode or maybe even Remote Desktop mode capable of identifying and playing certain videos not available on iOS like Flash videos. I know that iOS doesnt support flash but since the TV is directly receiving the stream Im sure there can be way around.

I tried several times and it justs goes to the countdown and doesnt play, I hope they can make it work some day

Download this app if you wanna get spammed by ad pop-ups Not being able to block popups makes it virtually useless Buggy as hell The controls are very irresponsive

This app is inconsistent and buggy, also the in app purchase to get rid of the countdown doesnt work, so thats a waste of $2.99.

Honestly, I cant believe you offer a app that doesnt work at all... Its completely useless .... Dont waste your time!!!

The app worked great for me, I lost my remote control for my smart tv so I downloaded this app, and it was pretty cool how I was able to search any music video on YouTube and it right away played on my tv :) the only problem was I couldnt use it on my Netflix app, but I have yet to see what else I can do.

When I have more than Sony TV on at the same time the app selects the largest TV and doesnt give me the option of which TV I want to watch.

Its nice but I cant open [cc] subtitles on the website when i play the video. Hope you fix us that.

Paid and downloaded the app on my iPhone 4 which worked fine then when I upgraded to iPhone 6 and downloaded again it totally unrecognized the fact I have already paid for this app and keeps throwing the wait at me. Not sure whats going and cant find a contact address to get this sorted out. I wish havent paid for it.
